Alex Knott Equine veterinary services is an independent veterinary practice dedicated to the performance and wellbeing of the equine athlete.

“I am lucky enough to have been involved with the veterinary management of horses competing and winning! at the Olympic Games, Cheltenham, Royal Ascot, Badminton, Burghley, and the list continues. From all this I have drawn a great deal of expertise in diagnosis, treatment and improvement in performance; and this translates to all horses, competing at all levels.

Having worked in large dedicated equine practices in Huntingdon (2004-2007) and Oakham (2007-2023) I have been involved in all aspects of the equine veterinary world and come to realise my real passion lies with managing and helping the equine athlete. Be that lameness investigations, ultrasonography, radiography, endoscopy, or pre-purchase exams.

The evolution of mobile diagnostic equipment has enabled me, with my 20 year’s experience, to offer hospital level diagnostics on your yard.
